Domestic installation
Rewires, consumer units, sockets, lighting and EV charging for homes across Oxfordshire.

Rewires and partial rewires
A rewire replaces the old cabling and accessories throughout your home. You might need one if your wiring is over 30 years old, if you have round pin sockets, or if you're getting flickering lights, warm sockets or tripping circuits. A partial rewire targets just the circuits that need it, which costs less and causes less disruption. You receive an electrical installation certificate and test results for the work carried out.

Consumer unit upgrades
The consumer unit, sometimes still called the fuse board, is the box that holds your trip switches. Old fuse boards don't cut the power safely when something goes wrong. We replace them with modern units that include RCD protection, which switches off in a fraction of a second if there's a fault, protecting you from electric shock and fire. You receive an electrical installation certificate for the new consumer unit.

Sockets, lighting and additional circuits
Adding extra sockets, new lighting circuits, dimmer switches, USB points or outdoor power. Useful when you're forever using extension leads, you're renovating a room, or you want new downlights or garden lighting put in properly rather than bodged onto an existing circuit. You receive a minor works certificate or installation certificate, depending on the work.

Kitchen and bathroom electrics
Kitchens and bathrooms need specialist wiring because of water and steam. We fit cooker points, extractor fans, complete with ventilation through to outside, downlights, shaver points and under-cabinet lighting, all to the Part P standard required in these rooms. When you're fitting a new kitchen or bathroom, it's a good time to tackle the electrics. As notifiable work, you receive an electrical installation certificate.

Outdoor and garden electrics
Power and lighting for sheds, garages, gardens and outbuildings, including weatherproof sockets, security lights and pond or water feature supplies. Outdoor wiring has to be rated for damp and physical damage, so it's worth having it done right rather than trailing cables through a window. You receive an installation certificate for the new outdoor circuits.

EV charger installation
Installation of home electric vehicle charge points, so you can charge your car from your own driveway or garage. We fit a dedicated charging circuit rated for continuous high current, which a standard socket isn't built for, and mount the charger where it suits your parking. You receive an electrical installation certificate for the charge point circuit.

Fault finding and repairs, large and small
No job is too small. If it needs putting right, give us a ring. For nuisance faults like a circuit that keeps tripping, sockets that have stopped working, or a light that flickers for no obvious reason, we trace the cause, explain what's wrong in plain English, and put it right. Most faults are found and fixed in a single visit.
Inspection and certification
EICRs, landlord certificates and Part P certification, all issued and notified properly.

Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
An EICR is a full inspection of your home's electrical installation to check it's safe. Landlords must have one done every five years by law. Homeowners use them when buying or selling, or just for peace of mind on an older property. We test the wiring, the earthing and the protection, and record what passes and what doesn't. You receive an EICR certificate listing the condition of the installation and any faults found.
Landlord electrical safety certificates
Landlords need a valid electrical safety certificate for every rental property, renewed at least every five years, or sooner if the report recommends it. We carry out the inspection and issue the certificate, and we'll flag anything that needs fixing before it becomes a problem with tenants or letting agents. You receive a landlord electrical safety certificate, valid for five years.
Pre-purchase electrical inspections
Before you commit to buying a property, an electrical inspection tells you whether the wiring is sound or whether you're walking into a rewire. Useful on older homes where the wiring age is unknown. We give you a clear report so you can factor any work into your offer. You receive a condition report summarising the state of the installation.
Part P Building Regulations certification
Part P is the part of the Building Regulations that covers electrical work in homes. Notifiable work, like new circuits, consumer unit changes and work in kitchens and bathrooms, must be signed off by a registered installer. As NAPIT registered, we self-certify the work and notify building control on your behalf. You receive a Building Regulations compliance certificate for the notifiable work.
Testing and safety
Portable appliance testing for homes, landlords and small businesses.
PA Testing (PAT)
Portable appliance testing checks that electrical appliances are safe to use, by inspecting the plug, cable and casing and testing the earth continuity and insulation. Useful for landlords handing over a furnished property, homeowners wanting older appliances checked, and small businesses that need to show their equipment is safe. You receive a PA Testing report listing each appliance and its pass or fail result.
Commercial
Electrical installation and maintenance for small businesses, offices and shops.

Small business, office, shop, industrial and factory electrical installation
Electrical installation and maintenance across commercial and industrial sites, from small businesses, offices and shops through to factories, from extra sockets and lighting to a full refit of a new unit. We work around your opening hours where we can so you're not shut down for longer than necessary, and we leave the paperwork in order for your insurer and landlord. You receive an installation certificate and, where required, an EICR for the premises. We travel further afield for commercial and industrial contracts.
